Tasty and moorish. Pull these crowd pleasers out whenever someone drops in for a drink, serve with drinks before a dinner party or any other time you feel like a cheesy delicious, healthier than most, snack.

BUY

  • 1 packet Lebanese bread/pita bread
  • Grated parmesan (buy the parmesan in the cylindrical packet as fresh parmesan will make the bread soggy)
  • Margarine (or spray olive oil)
  • Salt
  • Smoked paprika

 

DO

  • Preheat oven to 180 ° C
  • Split each piece of Lebanese bread and lightly spread with margarine. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese then salt and paprika. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until slightly browned and crisp. Cool and break into pieces. Keeps well in an airtight container for weeks.
