One of the best parts about travelling to exotic places is the discovery of the local food. Food and travel go hand in hand and in India, you are never far from a cooling, soothing Lassi that will chill you right down.

This Mango Lassi recipe is so simple kids can make it and before you know it you will be tasting India from your own kitchen. It’s from Bill Granger’s Bill Cooks for Kids


Mix the following in a blender and serve

  • 130 g Plain yoghurt
  • 125 ml of orange juice
  • 1 mango cubed
  • 3 ice cubes

Decorate like they do in India with pomegranate seeds, cardamon, bananas and pistachios.
